This is a highly recommended horror indie game to try out.Necessary cookies are absolutely essential for the website to function properly. ![]() There are some issues in controller support when it comes to movement control but other than that, the game performs well and really does give a complete nostalgic feeling to PS1 games-down to the creepy pixelated and low-poly characters. ![]() Overall, Peeb Adventures offers an interesting demo with the right amount of content to keep players excited and wanting more. The graphics are quite atmospheric with the surreal horror, too-portraying an unsettling world with secrets. Even simply swinging with it like Spiderman is satisfying-although you may encounter some issues with the movement input sensitivity when using an analog stick. Gameplay-wise, using the hook for interacting with the world and objects is pretty fun and the numerous areas you go through will challenge you to think outside the box with it. It’s best to keep an eye when doing so as there are dozens of hidden passages and easter eggs you can find. Your main goal is to explore around with Peeb- solving puzzles and traversing tricky platforming obstacles by using your hook. The in-game tutorial can be found in NPC dialogue so the controls are easy to grasp as soon as you start. However, the further you go to explore, the more you encounter strange areas that hint at something sinister underneath all of this nostalgic PS1 innocence. There’s no actual story to follow-you’re simply left to wander around, talk to NPCs as your guide, and unlock areas via puzzles. In Peeb Adventures, you play as a small white creature that has a long nose as its trusty grappling hook.
